Signing up for Membership with this website also enrolls you in the Canadian Spondylitis Assoication as a Member. Membership is free, and you must be a CSA Member to access all areas of the website, as well as to post on the forums or other areas.
Peer Mentors are fellow patients or family members who are volunteering to connect with other patients or family members to help provide support, knowledge, and experiences as they deal with managing and coping with their Spondylitis. As patients encounter medical, emotional, and society issues, their Peer Mentor will be there to listen, and where needed, help provide some suggestions, such as questions to ask your doctor on your next visit, general information on treatments available and their experiences with them, and even sometimes assistance in applying for Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits, Alberta Assured Income for the Severly Handicaped, or other services patients and their families may not be aware are available.
The Canadian Spondylitis Association collects contact information primarily for demographic purposes; however, if you desire to have our Newsletter sent to you by regular mail (available only in Canada - otherwise you may elect to receive the electronic version) you must supply full address information. Please supply a phone number if you are willing to participate in volunteer activities. The CSA does not share information without your permission, and only then with select partners. See our Privacy Policy for more information (this opens in a new window you may close to return to your registration from).
The Canadian Spondylitis Association publishes Talk Back, a regularly delivered Newsletter. Please choose the method you would like to have this delivered by.
